Why are Christians bringing up the sexual
predator excuse like that's the main reason for why the law is good?
Sexual predators will continue to do things
that are against the law. A law like this will not stop sexual predators from
doing what they do. That's why they are criminals. That why anyone who breaks
the law is called a criminal.
The main reason for why this law is good is
because it confirms the truth about the creation of God.
God created man[kind] in His image and He
created them (mankind) male and female. We are created in God's image. It is
God who created this structure and it is natural.
Then Satan rebelled and came to kill, steal,
and destroy. Satan stole mankind's identity. Satan killed male and female by
stealing the identity they had in God by deceiving them. Satan is destroying
God's natural structure, His creation.
That did not only happen in the garden of
Eden. It started there, but has continued until now, and will continue until the
end of the world.
However, God came down in the flesh, as a
human being, known as Jesus Christ, and suffered the consequences of rebellion
so that we would enjoy the benefits of God - that is, His light, His life, His
love, His character! Jesus Christ suffered the worst forms of torture in that
time and died the worst death - the death in the cross.
But God's mission did not end with death.
Jesus Christ resurrected the third day after His death and showed Himself to
many. His resurrected body was one that could eat, speak, walk, and talk. And,
after, Jesus ascended to heaven. As a result of this mission, Jesus gives all
those who believe in Him life everlasting and the promise of the Holy Spirit,
which helps and comforts all who believe in Jesus and transforms a person's
life into one that has the character of Spirit of God - love, joy, peace, longsuffering
(patience), goodness, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
God came to give life and life in abundance,
according to His design. And He knows what He is doing and what is best because
He, after all, created everything and has everything under His control
-including Satan and his followers.
Yet, God gave everyone a choice. He did not
make robots that would obey Him automatically, no matter what. He wants people
who by their choice and will want to obey him no matter what.
Who would push away love, joy, peace, and
life? Only God, through Jesus Christ can give all this.
Nonetheless, Jesus, since the beginning, has
warned that many bad things will happen because of Satan and the actions that
people make that is against the orders God has created - because to everything
there is an order, which science has also proved.
God warned that things in the world will only
get worst until the time of Jesus' second coming. Jesus gave us His promise
that He will come back and every eye will see and He will come to reign over
earth and bring everything back to order and will bring judgment to them that
have disobeyed Him and have not believed in Him. But before His coming, He has
given all peoples the ability to do whatever they want. However, He has His
people here - true followers of Jesus Christ. Since God is merciful and patient
and does not want any to perish, He continually interferes by showing Himself to
many peoples; and He does this through His true followers that have been
transformed into having His character and share this good news of Jesus
Christ.
Still, He warns everyone that there are
consequences when one is involved in doing that which is contrary to what He
established. Unfortunately, it is a shame that a bathroom law has to be made in
order to protect something that is natural and is how God established it. But
God told us in the Bible that this was going to happen. What God established is
what is good - God is good. Everything that is contrary to what is established
by God is evil. With all this that is transpiring before our eyes, people are
calling good evil and evil good.
